There is actually a really bad joke there. Gibraltar is a passage and I think they thought the internet is a passage. Interesting none the less

It doesn't have to be unsupported in order to qualify for FTP Access. It only needs to be unsupported in order to be made available for download to members with FTP Access.

It's a driver that converts a usb port to a com port to accommodate the pos industry since the software used expects to see the device connected via a com port.
I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not 98 had native usb support, or that this driver is remnants of the Odyssey/Neptune system as you posted.
I use a similar driver when interfacing into a cars computer when tuning them, even on Win7, the device I plug into a usb port shows up as being plugged into a com port, to which an extra com port then shows up in device manager, I then configure the software to connect to that com port.

I posted it as I was surprised to actually find an official download from MS that still had mention of Neptune.

Edited title to properly indicate why I posted this.

This is from the Durango Alpha OS October 2012 Leak with XDK 6.2.11785.0 and a fixed bootable VHD (that didn't work in the original leak) and repacked into a 7z LZMA2 with maximum compression.

Yea, I want stuff to be available for download. That's why I said it should be abandonware

We're interested in anything that isn't specified in the unwanted list. Check the Definitive Guide (my sig), you find everything you need to know there.

Other then the unofficial POSReady support hack which expires in 2019, there is no other way. I also have to question why you are still using Windows XP?

AFAIK they stopped purging users years ago. Looking at the members list, I can find inactive users with almost no posts all the way back to 2010/2011.

But if you still want 25 posts, then just stick around and try to be helpful to other threads I guess, I don't really know what other advice I could give lol
